India's interior's population is still very superstitious and most of the superstitions resulted to crimes,might be small or big.Some cunning people take advantages of such superstitious people.Vrinda was 10 and her younger sisters Vishakha and Vijaya were 6 and 4 respectively.Her mother Devi was continuously abused by her mother in law Lalita and Husband Shivnath Shirke,because she had not given them a baby boy.They didn't know the biological reason in fact most of such people don't know this and if someone tries to convince them they never trust them,but trust pretender Pundits and agree to do rituals asked by them.Lalita and her son Shivnath Shirke were blind supporters of Temple Priest Sadashiv Rao Bhogle.They asked him how they would get a son and he bluntly replied " You will have to send your elder daughter to me for a month and then after doing a "Ritual Process " You will get a son.Both of them agreed and assured him to send Vrinda tomorrow.
When they came back home they couldn't dare to tell this to Devi but they sent her to mother's village to attend one of relatives' wedding ceremony,and asked her to stay there at least twenty days with her mother..Next morning they went with Vrinda to the temple and handed her over to Sadashiv Rao Bhogle.
But Devi couldn't feel good without her children so she came back next day in the after noon.She asked her mother-in-law where Vrinda is ? She replied "I don't know"Her husband was at work.Her younger daughters told her that Father and Grandma took her some where.
Devi phoned her school friend Nikita who was living in town,she asked her to help.Nikita called Dora's helpline number and described her the case.
For Dora it was a different case.She went to that village with Rohan and informed the Local Police station about the case.Dora met all the neighbours and inquired about The Shirke family.She came to know that Devi was abused all day long by her husband and mother-in-law,because she didn't have son.One more important thing she came to know that they regularly visit temple.One of Dora's informer was living in that village,he said ," One of my friend is a vegetable seller saw Lalita and Shivnath Shirke with Vrinda going to the temple early in the morning.
Dora and Rohan went to the temple in Maharashtrian get up,like a wedded couple,They didn't find Vrinda.One cleaning lady was sitting out side.Rohan started talking to her,and he knew about a basement. He called the Police Party.Police Party arrived there with search warrant.Sadashiv Bhogle was helpless.Police Party rescued Vrinda,Devi thanked GOD she could get back her daughter safe.She thanked Dora and Rohan too.
Police arrested Lalita and Shivnath Shirke,and Sadashiv Bhogle,and criminal case was filed against all.
