In Indian wedding rituals performing the Commitment done between the bride and bridegroom that they will be standing by each other's side always in any situation in any condition. During seven holy rounds around fire they promise each other to live together and always be honest towards each other,the husband would always take care of her and wife always serve him. This is the traditional custom of Hindus, but it is a commitment of both , husband and wife.No one knows when it began but we assume, that right from the beginning of Hindu Religion it's presence was there.As I wrote India was attacked by invaders and so to protect from them child marriages were in practice at the beginning time. India became free in 1947 and a Constitution was written and followed, it provided equal rights to man and woman, right to study and right to vote. Girls were then sent to schools and colleges, they started doing jobs and they became equal to boys. Their earnings is equal to men or more than them.Their duties at work are also hard and approximately of eight to ten hours, now it is not possible for her to look after house or her baby, so now it is needed to take services of domestic helpers, nannies, crèche or if grandparents could help it is good. Now the basic thing of seven holy rounds around the fire during wedding ritual can't completely followed, so people modified it and taking marriage as a commitment between husband and wife, as They always help each other, they share all house hold works and always adjust with the timings.They plan baby and look after the baby equally.They Both maintain their economical status and could spend own money for own desires. In these cases wives are confident compare to those wives who are dependent upon their husbands and always looking at their husbands for their small wishes too. This way the time changed and now women can't be kept as a house wife only because house wife is at work 24/7 without any salary. These present era women need not to bear any type of unjust done by husband or in law's she straight way ended the relationship and move forward, because everyone has only one life given by GOD and he or she has a right to live his or her life according to wish, the relationship stays till both are sharing good and bad times, happy and hard times together !!
