Today's Tip !!
All things changed with the time, even the complete education system changed but I don't think teacher's conditions changed much. Teachers of the first generation after independence got the government teachers job for 70 Rs per month and after working 38 years with full dedication couldn't get much amount as pension. The teachers of third generation after independence also started their jobs in private schools for just 80 Rs and Government jobs for 450 per month for hard duty, In 1980's also private school job giving 150 per month, Later on the government jobs started paying a little better. Previously " Teacher was called Fatichar ( Very poor ) It became tougher to to get a government job, as it needed teachers training ( B. Ed.) also later on , after passing competition for B. Ed. Only then one could get admission in B. Ed. College, and even after having a master's degree with B. Ed. It was not easy to get a job, because posts were very less and applicants were in thousands. Lac of people used to get enrolled in employment exchange.Fourth generation teachers after independence were mostly doing private schools jobs even after doing B. Ed.most of them couldn't get government jobs and upto this time HiFi private schools craze increased and many rich people invested money in schools to earn profits, they started these schools as pure business, and so they started giving less money to teachers and earn big money from parents. Teachers were exploited and still are exploited by such owners. One amazing thing appeared during fourth and fifth generation, Multi national companies arrived, they were giving jobs with big packages, asking only twelfth with computer knowledge and English speaking, so all the youngsters of this period diverted towards these jobs, no one wanted to become a teacher. All big and small schools have now lowered their choice for teachers , because for these private schools only married women may be B. Ed or not , just graduates were left as teachers, and the small schools and coaching institutes in streets were appointing even 12 th pass girls as teachers for very little salaries. This way now it is really a serious question, Teacher is the basic pillar of society and they make the foundation of humanity, but the craze of teacher ship is vanishing !!
