Today’s Tip !! Learning throughout !!

Everything gets advanced with the time.. Education and teaching methods too. We must make learning a continuous process, it makes you younger. At  the age of 44 when my husband asked me to join a computer class ( 1997 ) I agreed. When the coach asked me on first day “ What do you know about computer “ I replied “ nothing “ he then described what the computer is and how it works when it is connected to the monitor. “ he also suggested me to join the typing class to learn Hindi English both typing. I agreed and started to attend typing class also. I learnt Hindi English both typing. When I asked the coach how would I type Hindi on this English keyboard he gave me a typed key board in which Hindi English both the letters were laying on one key , he described” you need to know which Hindi letter is laying on which English letter, means your fingers are working on English keyboard and you are seeing Hindi letters on your monitor’s screen, it was not easy to remember and recall , where the letter it’s small and big Matras are laying but I did it , I recalled it while sitting empty. And after some years when it became easy typing Hindi by English alphabets I was sad that my hard work to learn Hindi typing is now useless, but then I thought nothing is useless. At the age of 52 when I went to start a job in a English medium school, I wrote the application in first and second ABCD as usual, Even if I was M.A. Psychology and B.Ed too , I never tried cursive writing, the Principal said “ You need to learn cursive writing “ I agreed , for one month I continuously wrote five pages daily and got them checked by the principal The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog “ the sentence contains all alphabets“ I always feel happy whenever I get a chance to learn new things , I learnt Tamil, but found that learning language gets successful when it is in practice. I ask my all friends to learn new things whenever get a chance, it will make you healthy and happy and increase your life. Till today when I got a chance to become a teacher( counsellor) I happily agreed. Always be occupied, never keep your mind empty so that it gets polluted by useless and unnecessary things !!
