It was Princess Vaishali’s “Swayamvar”{A marriage organized by calling many Bridegrooms for one Bride,She has to select one of them and put the garland in his neck to show her choice}in Vidisha.Many Kings and Prince reached there with there armies also as some times the “Swayamvar”used to creat many conflicts.Ayodhya King’s son Avikshit also came there,he did not bring any army,only some friends were with him.All the friendly Kings and Enemies know his power very well,Because his father had completed many “Rajsuy”and “Ashvmedh Yagya”{Hard Prayers to show Power to the neighbourhood Kings}Avikshit helped his father in doing all this,so After seeing him all the kings became alert.They talked together that if Avikshit tries to take Vaishali ,they will stop him together.

The ceremony started at the right time.Vaishali entered ,and one by one she was being introduced to all the Bridegrooms,with their names ,and kingdoms.She reached near Avikshit,she stayed for a moment,and went forward,and suddenly something  one strange thing happened.Avikshit hold Vaishali’s hand,ran out side,and went away in his horsecart with her,all the kings also ran after him,and their armies too,it was a big war,Avikshit fought bravely but soon he lost without army,he was caught.Vaishali was brought inside.His father said”Avikshit will be punished,now again the ceremony will restart,you select any one of them as your husband.”Vaishali said”No,father I am not feeling well,I am not going to attend the ceremony.”King did not insist her,and declared “The Ceremony is over now,I will organize it soon in the near future”All the Kings and Prince returned back.After some days Ayodhya’s King attacked Vidisha,Vidisha’s King fought bravely but he was caught at last,Ayodhya’s King asked him”Why did you arrest my son at the time of ypur daughter’s “Swyamver”,Vidisha’s king requested him to forgive”Ayodhya’s King set him free “Vidisha’s King requested “I want to marry my daughter to your son”Ayodhya’s King,agreed but Avikshit said”I won’t marry her,because I got defeated infront of her”Vaishali said”No doubt,he is a brave man,he fought bravely,I have already decided to get married with him”It was a big problem now,so Avikshit’s mother decided to do fasting.Avikshit understood her mother’s plan,and he agreed to get married.In Vidisha,when Vaishali heard about Avikshit’s denial,and she also started fasting and hard prayers,A demon named Dradhkesh created hurdle,he hold her hand and started pulling her,A brave man appeared there,he fought bravely with the Demon,killed him,Vaishali asked him”Who are you?He said “I am Ayodhya’s Prince Avikshit”and who are you?”I am Vidisha’s princess Vaishali”They got married.
